Our Oysters

At Fallen Pine, we cultivate the Atlantic oyster, Crassostrea virginica, native to the Mid-Atlantic waterways and familiar to watermen for generations.
These aren't Chesapeake oysters. Grown in the high-salinity waters of the Chincoteague Bay, our oysters are clean and unmistakably salty.

Our top-line product. Choice Cocktail Grade. These oysters have exceptional shelf life thanks to sustainable harvesting techniques. Deep-cupped and easy to open, they're a favorite among shuckers and diners alike.

Larger, thicker-shelled, and available only when the season allows. We buy wild-caught or bottom-cultured oysters from Maryland watermen and farm-finish them. We don't tame the Wild Pony — we just get it ready for your raw bar.
